- Monitor and analyse regulatory and policy developments in Japan relevant to sustainability certification, circular economy, recycling, renewable materials and sustainable fuels
- Follow market and regulatory developments related to bioplastics, bio-based plastics, chemically recycled plastics and other circular materials in Japan
- Support the further development and adaptation of the ISCC PLUS certification system for the Japanese market
- Support the development of ISCC Japan FIT and related certification requirements
- Research Japanese legislation, policies, standards and industry initiatives and assess their implications for ISCC certification
- Support the translation and localisation of ISCC requirements, guidance documents and technical materialsbetween English and Japanese
- Support the translation and adaptation of ISCC Logos & Claims for the Japanese market
- Conduct research on Japanese market trends, sustainability initiatives and emerging applications for ISCC certification, particularly in the plastics, chemicals and bio-based materials sectors
- Support engagement with Japanese companies, industry associations, policymakers and other relevant stakeholders
- Prepare presentations, background materials, regulatory summaries and internal briefings related to Japan
- Support the ISCC team in the continuous improvement and development of certification requirements and market-specific solutions

Ihr Profil
- Currently studying Law, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, Environmental Policy, or a related field
- Native or professional-level Japanese, with strong English skills (at least C1)
- Strong interest in sustainability, circular economy, bioeconomy, recycling, bioplastics and environmental regulation
- Ability to understand and summarize regulatory and technical requirements
- Structured, reliable and comfortable working across different cultures and regulatory contexts
- Proactive mindset and willingness to take responsibility for your own topics
- Confident use of Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel
