Student Assistant - ISCC Integrity Management

Your tasks
ISCC – International Sustainability and Carbon Certification is one of the leading certification systems for sustainability, traceability and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. If you are passionate about sustainability and would like to join our highly motivated and diverse teams to make a difference, we are looking forward to welcoming you as Working Student for the Integrity Management Team at the ISCC head office in Cologne. Your tasks are:

  • Data collection & Entry: Assist in gathering data from multiple sources (e.g., certification bodies, producers, suppliers). Ensure accurate and timely entry of collected data into internal databases and ISCC systems; 
  • Reviewing & Documentation: Assist in reviewing and updating relevant documents and training materials (e.g., guidelines, external presentations, and internal procedures). Contribute to the continuous improvement of ISCC System Documents and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including the use of standardized graphical notation (e.g., BPMN) for visualizing integrity processes;
  • Research: Conduct research on best practices, regulatory developments, and benchmarking in the field of integrity management. Provide insights to support strategic planning and the ongoing development of ISCC`s Integrity Programme.
  • Communications: Assist in preparing presentations, workshops, reports, process diagrams and internal communications. Ensure content is well-structured, visually clear, and aligned with ISCC standards.
  • Administrative & Organizational tasks: provide general administrative support to the Integrity team, such as filing documents and reports, maintaining shared folders and records.
  • Learning & Development: take part in internal trainings or onboarding sessions to gain familiarity with ISCC`s requirements and documents, integrity programme, and relevant regulatory frameworks.

Your profile
  • Enrolled student with an availability of 15-20 hours per week for at least one year, preferably in the area of environmental science, legal studies, political science, international relations, or business administration.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (at least C1)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with the Atlassian suite and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of auditing or certification processes is an advantage
  • Interest in production systems, supply chains, and sustainability topics
  • Excellent computer skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management, dependability, and self-organization
  • A proactive and supportive attitude
  • An approachable and reliable team player
