Sustainability Manager - Greenhouse Gas Emission (GHG) and Mass Balance Systems

Your tasks


  • Lead the verification, validation and development of GHG requierments to ensure compliance with RED. 
  • Develop and continuously strengthen the internal systems and processes related to GHG and mass balance, with a focus on scalability, transparency and robustness. 
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including participation in working groups, stakeholder consultations and certification body (CB) meetings. 
  • Emerg best practices in the fields of GHG and MB, and translate them into actionable system improvements. 
  • Act as the internal point of contact for GHG and MB-related topics, providing guidance and support to relevant departments and business units. 
  • Taking the lead in GHG and MB ISCC Trainings 

Your profile

  • Experience in GHG accounting, carbon footprinting, or mass balance systems (e.g. ISCC, REDcert, or similar certification schemes). 
  • Strong understanding of environmental standards and regulatory frameworks. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. 
  • High level of self-management and time management. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of working collaboratively across teams and with external partners. 
  • Willingness and ability to learn continuously in a dynamic and evolving regulatory environment.

ISCC certifications are widely recognised and cover sustainable agricultural biomass, biogenic wastes and residues, non-biological renewable materials and recycled carbon-based materials. The development and implementation of different certification standards is ISCC’s tool to promote its mission to mitigate climate change and bring more traceability into global markets and supply chains. To date, ISCC holds more than 11,300 valid certificates in 129 countries.
